ABOUT ME:

Greetings and blessings!

I started engraving well over 20 years ago when I apprenticed under world renowned saddle maker and Silversmith, William J. Huston in Pendleton, Oregon.

Having grown up and raised as a country boy in Eastern Oregon amongst Cowboys, Ranchers, the Umatilla Native Americans, and the famous Pendleton Round-up and Happy Canyon Pageant, I have an ingrained love and respect for the American West and it’s history and art.

I started my engraving craft fabricating and engraving saddle and tack trim (horn plates, conchos, etc),Western Jewelry, trophy buckles, bits, spurs, and the like.

A few years later I became acquainted with one of the nations leading Colt restoration men and we became fast friends and partners in antique firearm restoration, preservation, and historical engraving. In this I studied, in extreme depth, the engraving techniques and styles of the turn-of-the-last-century master engravers such as Helfricht, Ulrich, Young, and Nimschke. I learned to replicate each of their individual styles for historical engraving and incorporate their techniques and styles into my own to this day.

I currently specialize in engraving firearms of all types. I am an FFL (Federally Licensed Firearm Dealer) so getting your guns to me and back to you is an easy process. I also continue to fabricate Jewelry and Western items, engrave watches, knives, auto and motorcycle parts – just about anything than can be carved!

While I still have a Facebook page (Click here),I strongly urge you to follow me on MeWe or GAB where I upload pictures of my work in progress daily. MeWe is my choice of a freedom loving alternative to FaceBook who censors free speech and supports and promotes agendas and lifestyles that I simply cannot stand for.
